This workshop will assist you in learning and identifying the best practices for preventing sexual misconduct in school environments. Special emphasis will be placed on prevention and the handling of these alleged incidents and the impact that media coverage on sexual abuse cases has on staff, children, parents and the community.
Our panelists, Karla Rhay, Ed.D,Chief Administrative Officer, SCSRM JPA, Glenn Lipson, Ph.D, Making Right Choices, and Dennis Popka, Esq., Orrock, Popka, Fortino & Brislin, will be covering the following issues: Recognize (the scope of the problem), Respond (what can be done to prevent) and Report (When it goes right, citing case studies).
