In 2004 California enacted AB1825 mandating two (2) hours of sexual harassment awareness training and education for all supervisors. Newly appointed supervisors must receive sexual harassment training within six (6) months of appointment; thereafter, supervisors are required to complete sexual harassment awareness training every two (2) years.
