The goal of the Southern Region Student Wellness Conference is to minimize health and wellness barriers to academic and personal success while maximizing student connectedness with the educational experience.
Student mental & physical wellness issues will be addressed by some of the nation’s top experts in the field. The experience will be highly interactive and addresses the basic design and function of a positive learning environment and multiagency collaboration to support student success.
The training offers a variety of workshop options that will enhance partnerships between school systems and community agencies as we increase the knowledge base of all those who interface with the wide range of student wellness needs on a daily basis.These activities offer personal and professional growth opportunities for school personnel, as well as community service providers, and are presented by those experienced in supporting success and wellness of young people and creating a positive school climate.
Attending all sessions is required.
