Participants will review, practice, refine, and return to the classroom prepared to . . .

·      fully implement high quality, language-focused instruction using ALL 15 of Dr. Kinsella’s instructional routines;

·      plan and provide a sequence of increasingly rigorous academic discourse aligned to the CA Common Core State Standards (CCSS);

·      identify common grammatical errors in students’ verbal and written interactions, and co-develop targeted lessons

·      prepare Academic Discussions and Words to Go vocabulary lessons, using exclusive templates designed by Dr. Kate Kinsella, to augment instruction in other content areas and to share with colleagues;

·      share photos and highlights from Year 1 implementations with colleagues;

·      consider tips and techniques to dramatically increase performance-based assessment opportunities to prepare students for the CCSS;

·      augment daily instruction with additional Daily Do-Nows for all 12 Issues, pacing guides, and much, more!

Prerequisite: Completion of English 3D Implementation Training Days 1-3

Required Materials: English 3D Teaching Guide, plus any photos, lesson examples etc. that you would like to share with the group!
