Community-based instructional programs build independence and good safety habits in students with special needs. In this training, the fundamental considerations for building a safe and effective community-based instructional program will be explained. Participants will learn, among other things, how to set up student accounts, develop task analysis checklists and data collection forms, as well as establish protocols and procedures for student medications and medical conditions. instructional asistants will leave with a certificate verifying their participation in this training.
