Windows on the World Institute and Student Town Meeting on American Foreign Policy

Description Participants will be introduced to topics relating to Russia’s social and economic reforms since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Putin presidency, policies toward former satellite republics, nuclear proliferation, and the U.S. – Russian strategic alliance. The standards-based program includes curriculum resources that engage high school students in analyzing both the impact of historical events, as well as the connections between the particular events and the larger social, economic, and political developments in the region.
