Eliminating Barriers to Learning Through the Early Identification of Student Mental Health Issues
Description
This two day seminar will focus on the early identification of mental health issues and effective classroom and school wide strategies. Participants will gain tools to break down barriers that affect behavior interfering with academic performance and attendance. Participants will also learn to understand the impact of mental health on student success, and most importantly, they will learn to support these students by forming strong and positive student-staff relationship.
